William R. Sunter, MD received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He served as an Intern in Internal Medicine at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Resident in Neurology, Dr. Sunter held the position of Chief Resident in Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, Texas.

Currently, Dr. Sunter is a staff neurologist for Health First Medical Group (HFMG) – Brevard County’s largest multi-specialty group.  He is the Medical Director for the HFMG Neurotoxin Therapeutics and Research Center with expertise in neurotoxin treatment for a range of neurological conditions including spasticity, cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, migraine and other pain syndromes.

Dr. Sunter holds Board Certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Board of Pain Management and American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is a member of numerous professional associations including:KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

Dr. Sunter is a clinical neurologist, as well as a research investigator, who has expertise in neurotoxin treatment for a variety of neurological problems. After more than two decades in practice, Dr. Sunter has experience in handling challenging cases involving dementia, epilepsy, stroke, chronic pain, neuromuscular disorders and other types neurological conditions.
